Here's a sampling of what we do.
Anne Arundel County Public Schools (AACPS), Strategic Advisory & Professional Development
Working with Anne Arundel County Public Schools (AACPS) Office of Equity and the Office of Student Services, we consult on LGBTQ+ initiatives across the district, including the districtwide Gender Sexuality Alliance/GSA planning team, professional development programming, and various workgroups that include teachers, administrators, central office leadership, school counselors, school psychologists, school social workers and pupil personnel workers. We lead educational workshops designed to deepen educators’ understanding of the AACPS equity policy and LGBTQ+ regulations, student perspectives, practice navigating scenarios to handle real-world situations, and offer recommendations for an inclusive, equitable learning environment. Other workshops explore how educators play a role in the development of LGBTQ+ youth, recommendations for incorporating resources in classrooms, and guiding students to access community programs beyond the classroom through local and national organizations.
National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Leadership Foundation, Program Development, Outreach & Engagement
We work with the NAB Leadership Foundation on DEI and leadership development initiatives, including the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Resource Center and the Leadership Labs series. The DEI resource center is designed to increase diversity recruitment efforts, employee retention and serve as a resource collection for people of color, women, LGBTQ+, disabled individuals and others in the broadcasting industry. Leadership Labs is a video series dedicated to providing leadership insights on topics such as change strategy, leadership models, emotional intelligence, and institutionalizing equity.
Zenit Journals, Growth Strategy & Partnership Development
For mental wellness company Zenit Journals, we created a comprehensive partnership model, as well as a format and pricing model for journaling retreats and workshops. We also consult on other activities related to business strategy, planning and growth.
